Not surprising Venice is one of Italy’s most important cities, as it is home to some of the most beautiful buildings, and world famous landmarks, such as St Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace and Rialto Bridge to name a few. Venice is also renowned for its traditional gondola rides through the canals, offering the most delightful and memorable experience.

A fabulous introductory tour for the first time visitor, taking in many of the cities famous visitor attractions with the help of a knowledgeable local guide. Visit St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Doge’s Palace (including entry), the Bridge of Sighs, the prisons and the Rialto Bridge. The walking tour takes approx. 2½ hours and allows you some free time in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the unique Venetian atmosphere. Return water taxi transfers from the airport included.

• Venice ~ familiar & the unfamiliar ~ £45.00 per person
This full day walking tour not only offers an opportunity to visit many of Venice’s most famous visitor attractions, but also includes attractions not normally included on the tourist trail. Included are St Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Doge’s Palace (entry not included), the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge. You have free time for lunch before exploring the unfamiliar parts of the city, including Santa Maria Formosa and the Basilica Di San Giovanni & Paolo. Return water taxi transfers from the airport included

• A Glimpse of Venice & Burano ~ £65.00 per person
Your full day tour starts with a water taxi transfer from the airport to a typical ‘trattoria’ for a 2 course lunch included in the cost. After some free time our local guide offers you a walking tour of Venice before boarding the ferry at Fondamento Nuova for the 30 minute journey to Burano – a fisherman’s island with brightly coloured houses and famous for the production of lace. You return directly to the airport.

• The Island of Murano & classical Venice ~ £75.00 per person
A full day tour departing from the airport to the Island of Murano – famous for glass blowing. You will have some free time to explore the town, followed a visit to a glass factory and a demonstration by a master glass blower. Later you board the ferry for St.Marks Square where lunch (included in the cost) has been arranged in a local restaurant. After lunch your knowledgeable local guide will take you on a walking tour of the classical Venetian attractions, including St Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Doge’s Palace (entry not included), the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge. Later in the afternoon you will return to the airport by water taxi.

Important Note:
As Venice is located on a Lagoon, all our excursions include a high degree of walking. In addition, the distance from the airport terminal to the water taxi/ferry departure point is 800 metres. Therefore, we consider these tours unsuitable for passengers with limited mobility or who require assistance.
